TUMBLEWEED BURNER POLICY

For your convenience, the City of Chappell offers the use of the City owned tumbleweed burner. This equipment is to be used for the disposal and burning of accumulated tumbleweeds. It is not to be used for any other purpose. This burner is offered at no cost for residents of Chappell for use within the City limits. The burner should not be used under any overhanging materials, including power lines. The burner is to be returned within three days, or upon demand. If the burner is damaged, a repair or replacement fee will be assessed.

If you wish to use the burner to dispose of tumbleweeds on your property, please fill out the required information at the bottom of this page and return it to the Chappell City Hall. The tumbleweed burner is available to be picked up and if needed, the burner can be delivered. For scheduling, call the City shop at 874-2554. Please contact City Hall with any other questions regarding use of this equipment.

The burner is not for commercial use.
