CONTAINER GLASS ONLY! (Mayonnaise jars, beer and wine bottles, etc.). Glass should be clean; labels need not be removed. Drinking glasses, window glass, ceramics, etc. are not accepted under any circumstance.

NEWSPAPERS, JUNK MAIL, ALL PAPER PRODUCTS, ETC! No brown paper sacks can be mixed with these paper products. Brown paper sacks belong with cardboard.

TIN CANS! Must be clean, labels need not be removed.

ALL OTHER METALS! Lawn mowers and bicycles must have tires removed. Barbed wire, stiff galvanized wire, or metal oil filters are not accepted under any circumstance.

MILK JUGS! Must be clean, labels need not be removed.

TRASH REMOVAL SERVICE
TUESDAY & FRIDAY

ONLY paper, cans and other normal household trash may be placed in the dumpsters of the City of Chappell, Nebraska. All such paper, cans and other normal household trash shall be bagged when placed in the dumpsters.

The following items SHALL NOT be allowed to be placed in the dumpsters:
· Construction, demolition or remodeling debris
· Concrete, dirt, sod, plaster, iron, tires
· Hot ashes, or ashes of any kind
· Flammable liquids, such as cleaning fluid, waste oils, gasoline, fuel oil, etc.
· Appliances and furniture
· Tree limbs and trimmings, grass clippings, leafs, hedge, brush trimmings, and garden and flower refuse.

ONLY those persons contracting for waste collection services with the City of Chappell, Nebraska shall be allowed to use the dumpsters provided by the City of Chappell, with the exception of those dumpsters placed in the public park areas, such dumpsters being provided for the convenience of the public using the park facilities of the City of Chappell, Nebraska.

Rates for sanitation usage shall be as follows:
A. Residential Rate. $12.00 per month.
B. Commercial Rate (service based). $17.00 per month.
C. Commercial Rate (goods based). $22.00 per month.
D. Municipal Rate. $14.00 per month.
E. Rural Rate (within one (1) mile of the city limits). $15.00 per month.
F. Rural Rate (between one (1) and five (5) miles of the city limits). $20.00 per month.
G. Rural Rate (between five (5) and ten (10) miles of the city limits). $25.00 per month.
H. Rural Rate (beyond ten (10) miles of the city limits). $30.00 per month.

ORGANIC DUMP SITE
Open 1:00 P.M. – 5:00 P.M.
WEDNESDAY & SATURDAY

GRASS CLIPPINGS and GARDEN REFUSE shall be accepted at the City Organic Dumpsite at No charge to the customer. Such clippings shall be refused if they contain waste other than grass clipping and garden refuse.

TREE BRANCHES and CLIPPINGS shall be accepted at the City Organic Dumpsite. Those persons desiring to deposit such waste at the City collection site who are currently customers of the City for trash collection and other than those person who are in the business of tree trimming and tree removal, shall not be charged a fee for depositing of such waste. Those persons who are in the tree trimming and removal business shall be charged the following fees for such disposal:
Car Truck Load - - - - - -$ 2.50
Pickup Load - - - - - - - -$ 5.00
Straight Truck Load - - - -$10.00
Semi-Trailer Load - - - - - $20.00
Furthermore, should any customer of the city desire a key to the city collection site, upon payment of an annual fee of $125.00, said customer should be given a key to such collection site. However, should such customer dump trash other than that allowed at such collection site, such customer shall indemnify and hold harmless the City from any and all fines and assessments that may be levied against the City by State and Federal authorities. Any load containing waste other than tree limbs and clippings shall be refused.
